    limp_noodle's '96 LX

Here's a couple of pics of my LX. Its going to be my DD so I don't want to mod it too much. I tried to keep it stock, but I have a couple of left over parts from my totaled spec v that fits it so I couldn't resist.

Automatic LX with 106,xxx on the clock

    Bone stock:

    Luckily these wheels fit:

My custom intake made from my old intercooler piping:

    Future mods:
    • New headunit
    • lowering springs
    • HIDs

I swear I'm going to stop there. Its an auto so I don't want to do much. I was thinking exhaust, but that would be pointless, lol.

Before I do the mods I'm going to change all of the fluids. The previous owner just had the front and rear brakes done and a tune up, so I should be good for a little. I popped the valvecover off to inspect the t-belt. It looks decent, no serious wear. I'll check it again in a about 10k-15k miles and then replace it at that time if needed.

For its age and mileage the car drives very well. Its been sitting in my driveway for a few months now. I just got a job so I'm going to need it for commuting to and from work. My evo gets horrible gas mileage and needs a new clutch so I have to stop driving it till I can afford a new clutch ($1500 for twin disk...crap)

I just want to really lower it. I can't stand cars that ride high, but that time will be coming soon.

Welcome. BH's make nice DD's for sure.
I was wondering why you were using T-band clamps for a simple intake.. then I read the intercooler piping part.. lol

haven't checked backed in a looooong time.

Just a little update for the daily. Got into a little fender bender, some lady ran a stop sign and scratched up my rear DS door and dented my rear 1/4 panel. Car was considered a total loss since the damages exceeded the cost of the car, but it still drives perfectly so I'm keeping it.

I've really grown to like this car a lot. I've been taking it everywhere. Driving back and forth to Philly as well as daily driving from work to school 5 days a week. I'm gonna miss it when I have to give it to my sister once she get's her license.

Here are the pics of the damage:

        New Mods:
        -HIDs
        -Sprint springs

Also dropped the car on sprint springs. I might cut a coil to make it sit lower, still to high for my taste. I'll see how the winter goes first before I cut them

and with my evo, that I need to fix. (needs a new clutch and radiator)
