    I need a base MS VJ20 fuel & spark maps!!!!

    Do any of you guys have a base map for running a VJ20 for MS? I have been looking at some timing maps but I would like a fuel map for 460cc injectors. Anything would help!

    you dont have any from lex? i have one you could probably start with but i use a vf8 hybrid instead....

      i can send you my map but it wont work, fuel map are different from one car to another. it wont be safe to run my fuel map on your car. but if you want it, send me a pm with you email adress. also i'm runing 460 injector

        Ok now i have a problem. The car idles great till temperatures raise and then my idle goes all the way lean as well as when I'm slowing down in gear. I messed with the fuel & timing maps but it still doesn't cut it. I also tried to reflash the MS but it said it had no connection to the port.... although on Megatune seems to have connection.... I would love your support since I want to have this car running for my b-day (Saturday )

          Have you checked your IAT/CLT compensation? It could be very aggressive causing it to go lean.

          Are you running it off an O2 sensor for feedback?

            IAT/CLT compensation? I think I have it turned off... O2 sensor feedback? for what?

              the MS can be setup to use the O2 sensor for cruising, idle, and low load conditions. If you don't use feedback you'll be chasing your tail with tuning as the AFRs will change from day to day. If you don't have it setup correctly it could also further mess with the tune.

              It's called EGO Correction in the MS world.

                Ok got the EGO going and I'm still working on the fuel and spark tables. I have been mess with my injector pulses and opening times. They were way off and made my car run like crap. All I know is that I have a lot of work to do lol. What should my spark plug gaps be at on a VJ20 set @ 10psi? right now they are .35 but was thinking about going down to .32 because I'm having spark blow out when I'm running really rich (9:1 A/F lol, I'm still working on the maps)

                  running 9.0 AFR just bogs because of so much fuel. Gap should be around .030.

                  Opening time should be close 1.0 ms
