    MS....3 or 4 wire tps?

Does anyone know if it makes a difference when building an MS unit?

The MS uses the TPS for one function - acceleration enrichments. However, the MS can do this in one of two ways.

It can use changes in TPS to add extra fuel during tip-in or it can use the MAP sensor pressure changes to do the same.

I have played with both and when they are both well tuned there is little difference to the two. If the TPS signal is noisy or very small changes in TPS cause large changes in engine load, the MAP method is better. The same can be said if the TPS signal is more indicative of engine load changes or MAP sensor is "noisier."

For vehicles such as the NA BP that comes with a 3 wire TPS, I setup the MS to use the MAP sensor for enrichment and this works very well.

You can see the settings in Megatune under Basic Settings -> Acceleration Wizard

      Hope this helps!
