nice:biggrin: any info on the new amp? i'm trying to decide if it's worth the money getting a set of A-series 8's or even a single 8, or getting 2 of the RE 8's;)

nope no info on the amps or components yet, they just emailed me their price sheet and wouldn't give me any info on the other stuff. if you've got the $$$, put it toward another brahma:biggrin:

well, alpine doesn't make a big enough amp for a XXX12:biggrin: and yeah, their XXX series is one of the best in the world for both SQ and SPL. and even their low end 8's have nice specs, especially for $50 each:biggrin: our AA meetings are right here, everyday, all day;)

that's why you get 2 of the amps, and one of the DVC XXX12" subs, with 1 VC going to each amp;) that'll give you a 1.9 ohm load to each amp:biggrin: course i can think of much better things to spend $1800 on:p:

ok so maybe i wont get those... maybe I'll just pick me up a 12" bottom line and stick it in there and see how it does and then if I like it... save up for another and do 1 alpine type R and 2 12" resonant hows that sound eh?

Eh hem, caught you all. The first step is admitting that you all have a problem, now after pricing them and having them ship, we'll have to talk about this! Some support group eh? :p:

sounds a little odd. generally peole keep the same brand of subs in the car. you could also run the XXX 12 quad VC sub off one of the new alpine amps. no you won't be pushing the sub to it's limits, but it'll definitely move it;)

You know that isn't true about me. I am just poking fun! ;) Funny how you guys are quick to react you homophobiacs. I am a bit of one too. I work in the medical field and have been hit on by men on 2 occaions    Tell me that is not weird as hell! They know I am straight too so WTF! Now if a guy is nice to me, I am like BACK OFF BUD!! Not really, but I am a little leary at first. Like on Seinfeld, "Not that there is any thing wrong with that!"
