here's my blog: http://deathbysedan.blogspot.com/
I just converted my automatic 95 BG Protege sedan to MX3 manual KLZE in 10 days. I even went to work 3 days, got sick for one and had thanksgiving dinner! LOLOLOLOL i'm pretty tired.
the car is all MX3 from the driver seat forward, all the wiring and everything. i used the dash too.
the car isn't completely done yet, but it runs. I still need to bleed the brakes (changed over a manual Protege LX master cylinder resivoir for the clutch master hose), fill the coolant, make my 2.5" full exhaust, and clean up the interior wiring and panels.
It's not much of a worklog, but I'll update things I do with the car, I've already planned a lapping day to shakedown the setup at the end of the month.

It's a newer JDM KL31-1A1 KLZE curved neck with plastic PS pulley and only one water temp sensor, also it had the internal coil 6wire distributor and KL01 cams. I got it for $540, and the car was $500, so you can see where i'm going with this, it's a cheap project. A good clutch, 16x8 rota mcgriddles with DZ101 dunlops, sprint springs and a KL31 chip for the K8 ecu, it's about a $2K complete car! can't wait to drive it next week.
