    Super Street or Stupid Street?

"Honda owners are fortunate, because there are so many people out there trying engine swaps. Most likely someone has done a swap before you and has learned what fits and what doesn't. But what if you own an '86 Mazda 323? Will the '93-'96 MX-6's 164hp V-6 fit in your car? To be honest, we're not sure. It's quite possible, but we've never heard of anyone doing it and therefore have no basis to go either way. In this case, the ball lands in your court. You can try to find someone else who has done the V-6 swap, but most likely you will be on your own."

    From superstreetonline.com.

I thought someone might enjoy this, I know I did.

the biggest problem with super street is that their builds cost a fortune and their cars are out of reach to most people...never been a big fan of the mag...

lmfao, that is so full of fail

and they call themselves car enthuisests, more like honda enthusiest

what i dont get is why would they take a random ass car, and say a random ass engine swap (a KL into a 323) and not no if its done, its like they had to no its been done becasue how do you just go ahead and pull those out of your imagination, but yet that swap has been done over and over and over and over again

Yeah, I look at the magazines to kill time and to drool over how hondas have such nice parts. For real down to earth stuff I look at this magazine called Project car, Its quarterly i believe and they do legit low budget stuff. They do things that you could go out and do yourself with a real life budget. If you haven't looked at the magazine I suggest you do. Yes some of the stuff is honda, but they've done mazda stuff in the past and probably will do more.

i agree, they cater to the trailer queers(i meant queen) in my opinion those cars dont live in the real world like ours. ace i have some of the first mags of the project series, with some nice protects like, miata 1.6 they turn that one out to turbo, ford focus, jetta. cavalier and some others but like everything else they stared to go to the masses. turpro i dont worry about that, because those peoples, if is not a bolt- on they dont have the imagination to be creative, like i have seen here. thats why i joint this site, for the talent that is here. thats coming from a retired technician with about 30 years in the field.

                  Oh the headaches
I live my life a quarter pounder at a time. And for those 500 calories or more, I'm free. I need FRIES! Two of them. The big ones. Oh, and I need them tonight. You're lucky the double shot of BBQ sauce didn't blow the seam on your nugget box. There she is, 2 pounds of pure beef. My dad ate it in 9.0 seconds flat. Check it out, it's like this. If I lose, winner takes my happy meal. But if I win, I take the burger and the toy. To some people, that's more important.

In SS's defense the Kl into bf is a lot less common than the Kl into bg that most see. Lol when I had a question I could never find answers.

Something to keep in mind with Super Street or Modified or Import tuner or any big car mag for that matter is they only want to feature "quality" builds. A lot of times that means big money cars. Of course they make exceptions from time to time if something is really crazy and unusual then it can be a little rough around the edges and get away with it. It is not as though they have equally well built Honda civics and Mazda proteges competing for features in the mags. The truth is, there are 100x more people building Hondas than probably any other type of import.

Basically which would the average consumer rather see, a fully built civic/integra/accord/integra/wrx/evo/skyline/nsx/supra/etc. or a clean but minimally modded anything else?

This is probably one of the few Clubprotege famous mazdas that could even come close to being feature worthy:
