    B6T coolant sensors necessary ?

    Sup Fellas . .

In doing a complete BPT motor/tranny AND BPT engine harness swap into a BF GTX, are all the factory B6T coolant sensors still necessary ?

Specifically the ones on the top and bottom of the stock radiator.

*Looking to simplify my engine bay with an aluminum 3 row civic radiator, and just wanna know if I have to keep these sensors.

    -Thanks guys

The GTX has a 2 speed fan and those control the fan thru the 2 fan relays on the drivers fender. They also are not part of the engine harness. You will need to find a way to control the fan you will be using. I would think you could using that circuit or part of it.

I think the bpt ecu and wiring harness take care of the fan on thier own

I am not using the sensors in the rad at all,the sensor in the water outlet triggers thefan. And as stated above power comes from the original separate fan harness.

I run the fan off a switch/relay. The switch is mounted inside the cabin. Keep an eye on temps though.. I damn near popped a head gasket sitting in a drive thru one night.
