im not sure on the mounts, but for clutch you can use a 1.6 clutch, you may have to use the 1.6 starter though, you could also use a 1.8 clutch too

there should be a few threads on whats needed but yes, 3 of the 4 mounts will bold up with minor modification and use a bpt transmission with your BP engine

bp NA is 5hp lower then a b6t when both are stock. you are talking about a custom engine swap for less power?

oh cool, we never got those here so i thought you were talking about a BFMR. getting the engine into the car is fairly easy.

-passerngar side mount, use the mounting bracket from the B6 block and put it on the BP block,it will go behind the cam gear backer plate. reuse the stock mount.

-front motor mount, use stock redrill holes on the cradle where it sits in the new position.
-rear motor mount use the stock one in the stock position.
-upper mount, if u are using stock transmission then use stock mount

ok it so easy that would be done in a day.

                  but some questions

what aboat clutch and flywheel b6 or bp or is the same what i use.

is it possible to get the stock bp ecu to work in the bf,
                  have somebody do that before?

allready have a bg whit bp engine in, so if that is possible that will be the easiest to do

what abaut the centerdiff button, do that operates thru the engine ecu ?

Greg Downing wrote a detailed post on his swap at the yahoo forum, you could try there.

Center diff button has nothing to do with ECU.

your stock bf transmission will bolt up to a BP engine...HOWEVER some of the bolt holes along the oil pan will NOT make. the bigger 17mm ones shold all make though.

for a clutch just use a BP clutch and flywheel, im guessing your stock transmission is hydralicly opperated?

your diff lock should be fine where it is, it has its own wireing straight to the control box in the car

All this can be answered through a "search" on this site as well as yahoo's site ,&the auzzie site. These questions are easy, get some knowledge man.Theres a "file" that George B made on the yahoo site, that thing is indispensible, get that and schematics for your car and the bp's your going to use.You could run the bp off the b6 ecu,no? Good Luck

i have searched this site, before i asked this quistion, but did not find what i need.
and i read almost every worklog and the only thing i could see, when they put down the bp engine was the redrilling the hole in the front engine mount
and the yahoo site i searched when BFMRGTX mention the site, but diden find there either. ,&the auzzie site i not even heard off before now,
isent this the mening of having a forum to ask questions ?? .

what i mean whit the ecu was to run stock bp ecu in the bf to run the bp.

but i found out that some one her, sold plug and play ms to the bp so i gonna buy that. i have a autronic sm4 in my other car, but that is a little expensiv to put in a daily driver, incase it got stolen.

                              The Aussie site = fordlaser.com

You may not find the info you need here, the BF chassis section is relatively new in the CP world, many people here with bp swapped bf's have had it done for a while
