Engine tuning help with hybrid turbo

I love my new set-up (with the hybrid turbo). Car shows real signs of running strong except when I mash down on the gas pedal and the revs start climbing (and the boost) I start hesitating and blowing dark smoke (rich mixture?). My narrow band air/fuel ration gauge only tells me that I am running rich, but I can't tell by how much. Is this hesitation a common problem with moving up to the hybrid? If so, how did you get rid of it? Should I be adjusting the timing? Any words of wisdom?

what hybrid? theres a bunch ..... also get a wideband or your not going to be able to tune anything... whats your management?
