No it will not. The only upgrede for the 2wd is from drum to disc. You get the parts from a 91-94 Mercury Capri or an 88 323 GT...likely the former. You will need the spindle/rotor/caliper assembly. A straight forward bolt on swap. The proportioning valve will work fine with the disc setup as the volume of the wheel cylinder and the caliper is too close to worry about. I did this swap and it was flawless in operation.

I'd imagine the rotors will work but you'd have to find something else for calipers and adapters as the GTX is totally different than the GT from about the firewall back. Even some of the stuff in front of the firewall is totally different.
