ACT or SPEC clutch, bf gtx

I'll need a clutch pretty soon I imagine. I'm looking towards the SPEC stage 2 (305ft/lb torque rated) or stage 2+ (337ft/lb torque rated) or an ACT HD kit (a 2100 kit, 277ft/lb torque rated). Looking for opinions from people on either and asap because I'd like to get it ordered Monday morning. I haven't really found any good reviews for these clutches yet. I see a centerforce dual friction is available too but I don't think I'd like to go with them.

I'd stay away from spec. The stage 1 in my hatch slips sometimes and it only has a exhaust on it.

Ya some miata guys I know said they preferred ACT over most any other clutch kit. I've also seen a SPEC clutch shattered taken out of a det swapped central with low miles on it.

Ive got an ACT clutch in my gtx with a fidanza flywheel and it operates very smooth and holds at 200 or so hp. I also had an ACT in my 2nd gen escort gt that was good too. dont know too much about spec but I would recommend the ACT

I've got a full disc HD ACT setup in both my cars and they seem to be doing the job. Although I think the one in the street car is right at the edge...

I'm using south bends S/S stage 4(full face plate),its heavy but that's to be expected.I've had good luck with centerforce also, not the brute the southbend is.

anyone else with anything to say about the centerforce dual friction's? i see there relatively more cheaper than the act so if it's gonna work as good i'll just go with that.

Im using a Spec Stage 3+ (full face carbon metallic) with an ACT HD Pressure plate... no issues what so ever, holds my power and abuse no problem...

Mind you it came off of RielDeal's EGTR which ran low-mid 12s with this clutch....
