GI: KL to E153 toyota adapter plates

Looking to see who/how many people are sincerely interested in a functional adapter plate for fitting a toyota transmission to a KL motor.
Toyota transmissions are virtually indestructible compared next to the mazda equivalent & offer a vast range of gear ratio's to suit any driving needs.

Plates will be mild steel and Accurately Centered to .005mm
allowing you to run multiplate clutch systems without worry of stripping splines

I need 10 sincere people to get this started.
Please post accordingly if you would like a plate

Will a KL clear the transfer case for a GT4 trans?

And why not an FE3/F2T adapter?

its possible it might clear for a transfer case.

there already is a FE3/F2T adapter plate,
I just figured the KL needed some support in this department too

Has anyone used an E153 trans on the KL? I'm just wandering what flywheel/clutch set-up would be needed etc

well since the G series clutches are basically interchangible, i'd imagine you would run your stock flywheel, then match w/e ppl run for BP/E153 pressure plate and friction disks.

I do agree sticking with the KL flywheel is ideal, but would the E153 starter match up to the KL flywheel?

I'm only assuming the E153 starter will be used since the KL flywheel does not go passed the side of the engine (like the way the BP flywheels do) meaning the starter must be on the transmission side

If the starter was able to be on the engine side for the KL's then that would solve any questions for sure, i'm not trying to be a PITA with my questions, i really am interested in the adapter plate, i just want to make sure the E153 will work with the KL before i say yes or no to buying an adapter plate

For those running an N/A KL... this wouldn't be a great option. E153 gears are LONG.

Personally, i'd be interested in an Toyota S53/S54 adapter plate. Moreso if i can verify that MFactory makes a revised final drive for the S54. I think there's only VERY minor differences between S and E bolt patterns though. Input shaft is the biggest difference, so you may be able to use an "E" adapter with an "S" transmission.

But the E153 is perfect for boosted KLs.
