    Rear T.T.L. Poly Bushings???? (idea)

I would like to replace my rear TTL bushings with poly bushings and rid myself of the old worn out OEM rubber ones. anybody out there know of anyone who makes poly bushings that would be willing to make custom ones?
The rear T.T.L.(twin trapizodal link) is very tricky in how it works with the bushigns tho.. im not exactly sure how to go about removing the bolts that go through the bushings and frame/knuckle... they are quite long... my thoughts might include the poly bushings needing sleeves but im not sure. depends on if they will colapse when being pressed in. gotta have enough clearance for the bolts.

    all opinions are open.

go to a j/y and get yourself the TTLs off a junker. Hand that over to the shop and they can play with it as they see fit...no down time on your ride, no bending down and creeping under the car, etc...

Try a few local hot rod/street rod shops or even drag race shops (i mean fab shops, not retailers) i'm positive they can either get em done for you or point you to somebody who can.

I've always used air on mine, never tried with just hand tools. It would be a PITA to get off I bet in the yard. Hummmm. It would be nice to replace those tho.

IIRC, it's the same long ass bolt that my rear tie bar bolts up too...if so, i used hand tools.

Yeah D should be able to get them pressed, I sware when you live on the east coast and you read all the mags which mainly consist of west coast cars. I would sware there is nothing you can't get done out there.
