1st Gen Protege TEIN FLEX Group Buy

ok, after the reception of my last thread i thought about not even postin this, but im hopin there are more normal protege owners than there are complete ****ing assholes...

this is the deal. ive been in contact with the people at tein, and we have a chance to be able to have a custom run of the tein flex coilovers made for our cars. we will be talkin about a cost of somewhere between $1500 and $2000 for the set of four. the thing is that we need 500 guaranteed buyers. heres the latest email i have recieved from the sales staff.

Unfortunately TEIN U.S.A. does not offer custom suspension kits because
    it
is not cost efficient for us. The only way to get a custom suspension
    kit
is to promise us that there will be over 500 suspension kits sold for
    your
vehicle. You will have to provide us a deposit for at least half of the
cost for the 500 kits for us to make it. We are sorry to give you such
    bad
news but if you have anymore questions please feel free to contact us.
Thank you for your interest in Tein High Performance Suspension and good
    luck with your project!

    Best regards,
    Sales

i SERIOUSLY doubt we can get 500 buyers, but its always worth a try. the only reason i posted this is because this is what i want for my LX. any takers?

it might help if you let Tein know the vesitility of such a venture.

    91-96 ford Escorts,
    91-96 merc tracers,
    90-94 323,

if helps if they think they are making a product that is for more than one car.
When you turn your car on... does it return the favor?

yup, i almost r my way onto the flmao reading this.

2000 for a suspension? riiight, and 500 people? there are already like 3-4 full coilover kits for our car! why do we need another kit to be made?

Lemme guess..b/c in the ricer world that F&F and 2F2F created, people get the conception that "TEIN IS THE BESTEST". news for ya, other companies make equally if not better suspensions.

if u saw tein in the fast and the furious, u watched it WAY too many times... course i might have missed it the one time i watched it and laughed at it... obviously ur NOT one of the ppl who are serious bout doin the right **** to their cars... why tein? not cuz its the best, like i heard some asshole with an attitude post, but becuz theyre very good, and i have personal experience with the flex system and love the range of adjustability and the ride quality... so while i hold the optimistic hope that enuf ppl with normal attitudes instead of internet bad-asses will look at this and say "hey, kewl, a chance for a damn good susp setup and to be one of the few", well, if it doesnt happen, then f*ck it, ill join u and throw some weapon-r sleeves on my stock struts... or maybe cut my stock springs, cuz thatll give me that fast n furious lowered look just as well as all that hard work of actually changin ****, wont it...

hahah... ive noticed that... thats why im postin this on as many forums as i can find for the indicated cars... and i was actually plannin on a year or more, so thats no big surprise to me... and obviously teins arent for everybody, but if somebody wants some decent quality **** thatd be rarer than a usdm 323 gtx, heres the chance...

Don't waste your time, this is never gonna happen. Getting 500 buyers is IMPOSSIBLE, especially for such an expensive product.
