Shake off the winter cobwebs with the years first summer season auto-x with the UBCSCC
We have an autocross event coming up on Saturday, April 9 we are offering a new member special!
Typically to come run a UBCSCC Autocross you require a yearly membership ($25), in addition to the $35 per event race fee. For this event only, we are offering a $5 UBCSCC "Day" membership which exempts you from both the membership requirements. Anyone is welcome, you do not need to be a UBC student!
This means that for only $40 total, you can come out and try autocross with our club - if you decide you'd like to join, we will put your $5 towards a new membership at the end of the day. (Please note, the day membership is only valid for those who have never been part of the UBCSCC club). If you are new to the sport, we have everything you need - loaner helmets, instructors, and even some sunshine planned for Saturday! All makes and models are welcome as long as they meet the sound rules and are safe for the course.
The UBCSCC is a fully equiped and experienced motorsports club. We have:
-50+ years of heritage
-New Race America timing equipment
-Experienced Instructors to introduce novices to the sport and to even help seasoned drivers
-Free Loaner helmets
-Deals on tires from our sponsor TOYO TIRES: Driven to Perform
-National level competition (multiple Canadian National Champions, SCCA National Tour trophies)
-approximately 8 runs per event, higher than the regional average.
-A fun atmosphere.
-Easily Approachable Executive Members.
-A record of enabling drivers to make the transition to track events and hillclimbs if they wish, or to compete and win in auto-x.
