    While I been gone..

    Well i doubt anyone noticed,or cared haha, but for the last week i havnt been on. Why? STOPID PROBES haha jk, seriously though i was driving home from Piles house when we came up to a light, both of us ready to play and all the sudden my radio shuts off...my dash lights are dim and my car is puttering....wtf? Volt gauge is flat lined so we pull in to autozone, which is literealy right where we were and pop the hood (its dark out FTW) alternator belts gone, no bigge right? WRONG Get back to his house (barley) and find my alternator pulley resting against the frame rail....****.
    the top bolt turns out to be broken while the bottom one has stripped out (goes into the alternator bracket.) Anyway came up with the most logical way to fix it is to pull it and do my clutch G4 mani and all that at the same time. So we did.


    alternator bracket i replaced, this is the stripped out one.

    Fidanza flywheel, stage 1 southbend bolted on.

    Put back in, called it a night.

    literaly seconds from starting.

    back on the road! filling up on powersteering, and that big puddle is from me cleaning the tranny, i spilled fluid everywhere...sorry Pile...


    outside of the fact the my new driver side axle shakes it runs great and from what i can tell (cant beat on it yet) its noticably faster with the G4. So far only 25 miles on the clutch, hopefully in a few weeks ill have her broke in, and go to the dragstrip for her first run since i bought it.

          crap, my post from the 3rd is gone, forgot about that glitch lol.

          Sucks that happened man! My 626's tensioner would always loosen up on me, no matter what. I had to replace it 3 times til I got one that would stay locked down...and yes I was tightening the pulley nut after adjusting the belt tension lol.

          I had to keep tightening it about once a week or it would squeal like a pig when I had to be at work for 6am lol, neighbours hated me for that.

              Hard to say now that i have the fidanza on as well, but with my CAI i can hear my VRIS, they make my intake whistle now hahaha

                Yep, dealing with used parts and parts that have significant amount of use, one starts seeing its tear and wear properties right away. Its part of the game of tuning/ tweaking deal when tinkering with them.

                  He sold this car like 2 years ago. He also added a 'JDM wink mirror" to it. Poor probe.

                  I do see the car pretty much weekly still though. Its been in an accident, and half the passenger side is spray painted black. But shes still alive.
