    Master Cylinder Question

My 88 GTX has a dead brake petal. not getting any pressure and it goes to the floor.
pretty sure its the master cylinder.
Unfortunalty there are no replacements gtx parts in my area.
there is however some other Mazdas around here.

I want to know if i could use the Booster and Master Cly from a 626, 929 or Rx7 in my 323? anyone know?

the 929 master is 1inch and you will need to fit a bh booster

          that shap there is bh.

the bore size is bigger. so it will change the way your pedal feels. the bigger bore will push more brake fluid for the same about of movment of the pedal.

and by bore i referring to the internal diameter of the master cylinder

or you could just leave the bh master cylinder on the booster? you might have to bend the pipes to fit

not all 929's MC's are 1 inch. there actually kinda hard to find. so be careful when buying yours, and make sure to ask before buying. otherwise you probably wont be happy with what you get

i dont think i can find the 95 protege booster.
what other cars share the same booster as that year?

The master cylinder you want has a "1" stamped on the side. You'll notice your stock one has "15/16" (or maybe "7/8") stamped on it.
