So my driver side power window on my 88 gtx is having an issue. As I roll it up it sounds like its skipping teeth than if I grab it and help it up it works. Any suggestions?

Do a search.its out there in detail. -
You either need to replace the gear on the motor or get a new regulator assembly. I got two new ones on ebay for one of my cars. 65.00 each and no problems.

Take it apart and clean it then lube with dielectric egrease...should be good to go.Comment

I wish it was that easy but the actual conections for the wires are melted dont know how it happend it was like that when i bought the car also the passenger side window switch is complelty missing any clues in which other cars they can be interchangeable with?Comment
