    AWD front drive line mount

    Another question:

I was running a protege drive line in my MX3, and I hated the 3 piece drive line. it just fit, and was very snug to say the least, probably too snug.

I am now going to the 323 GTX drive line because of the 2 piece aspect, as well as its smaller and lighter. only problem is, it is shorter by about 3".

This is the pic of the front joint on my car now. The other day I came across a picture of an imported KLZE motor attached to an AWD trans with a longer front joint assembly. Does anyone know if this would be found on the AWD MPV? it was about the length I need to not have to modify my drive line.

    Thanks for the help!

You're striking out into unfamiliar territory, man. Have fun with it!
'90 AWD Protege, full GTR drivetrain swap, ~320 whp daily driver, RIP, and
'90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.

if its a ZE it probably came from the uber super rare V6 Auto AWD car overseas. I'm not sure the name right now but some guy in the AWD section is doing a conversion to an MX-6. Why not just make a spacer to go in there?

That's exactly where I saw it, was someones WL talking about a ZE with Auto trans and a block off plate that came on the FWD models... hmm if i could get a part number or remember where I saw it.

Well, a spacer is my other option for now until I decide to get a new drive line made. but if i can find this piece then it would make life a bit easier

It was worth a shot to see if anyone had one Thanks

Probably not the same, but the AT 4wd Protege has a double-offset front joint that's slightly longer than the MT's löbro joint. Not 3" longer though. I have one if you want it.
