I'm gonna drop my es with intrax springs and I need to know if it's necassary to buy kyb gr2's or can I just use my stock struts?

lowering springs with stock struts?

Unless you think your shocks are in really good shape, then probably not. Because when you install lowering spring, the shock travel is no longer the same, and that might cause premature failure of your original shocks.
I lowered my DX with H&R and I installed new KYBs all around. I had to, becaues one of my fronts was busted."Probable impossibilities are to be preferred to improbable possibilities."

i would do struts too, if your struts dont go, your upper strut bushings will and itll sqeak and pop.According to my Anger Management Counselor, after 26 weeks of anger management class, I should be an expert when it comes to Anger Management...tell that to the guy who threw a starburst at my car in rush hour traffic...haha

the stock struts cannot dampen the aftermarket springs well enough. The car will bounce, even before the oem struts are blown. They just can't handle the extra force."Never run out of real estate, traction & ideas at the same time"
