Any BF owner have a BG steering wheel in their car?

I'm looking on NRG's website, and it says that their short hub fits all year proteges/626/rx7/miata, but it says nothing about the 323. So my question is does any BF owner have a BG wheel on their car, or does anyone just know if it will fit? Because if so then this hub will work fine.

The splines didn't change between BF and BG did they?

Thanks for letting me know that man, but I honestly just want to know if it will fit. Not trying to be a dick or anything..

I used a leather, FC RX-7 steering wheel in the GTX, if that helps.
And I know of two people using FB RX-7 steering wheels in their GTXs.

That helps. This is supposed to fit all year RX7s so thats good. Thanks

Only thing now is I don't know if the GTX has the same spline as a 2wd sedan. lol

Yep, 1st Gen RX-7 wheel in my BF 323 Wagon and my BG Protege uses a hub for a Miata. .

worse case dude, count your splines and I can count mine, but it should fit. All Mazdas from the early 80s used that spline.

To the best of my knowledge, all Mazdas from like the late 70's up have the same steering column diameter/spline count. Just an FYI, I had an RX8 wheel in my '89 323 SE, a BG protege wheel in the same car, and swapped an aftermarket momo hub/wheel combo from an '89 GTX to a '93 protege back into my '89 323 se back to my '88 GT.

Awesome. I'm going to order the short hub now, and eventually buy the quick release for it.

I had bought a whole set awhile back but the seller never sent it. Thanks to ebay I got my money back.

I ran into a problem trying to install my grant wheel that I had in my BF into my BG... I had custom made the adapter I was using from the stock BF steering wheel and it wouldn't fit my BG... There were differences in how the switches mounted on the column in my case... I can't remember about the spline count though...

Here is a link to the Momo website, they show a few different hubs available. The one I'm surprised on is that they list a different hub for the FC Rx7 than the BG 323 when somebody here said they had used an FC wheel on their car.

When I used the FC wheel on the GTX, I modified the plastic turn signal canceller, that slides on the column. It was the only thing I recall I had to do.

                              Worked great.
