    Gtx check engine light

This morning on my way to work the check engine light came on. No discernible change in te operation of the car. I was simply cruising not pushing. Stayed on for about 30 seconds.

Shortly after it went off my low gas light came on.

Could they be related? Any other guesses?

pull the code out of the ecu,by grounding the yellow female plug.located to the left of the booster, closer to the driver.
I say o2 sensor, not changing voltage within the specified time triggering a code.
That would'nt mean its bad though.

Will the ecu still spit the code out after the lights gone out? Or does the light have to be on? I'm going to check into this more.

Happened again this morning only with out the gas light and this time I gave it a little rev and it went out.

Yeah,it'll be stored in the ecu.Chances are extremely good it'll be the o2 when you give er a little and the light goes out.

I have the same thing started happening to me as I drive the light turns on and off from time to time. But I replaced my O2 sensor 2 years ago. I will try connecting ground and yellow later today. Any advise would be appreciative.
