BF vs BG interio, head and legroom

Hi folks! New to the forum (I will post in the new member forum later on).

I have a question for you guys. I have a friend with a 1991 323 gtx saloon which means it's the BG chassis. As I am quite tall I can just about fit fine in to his car. I am after a 88 323 gtx hatcback myself, but have a long way to travel to check the car out. Before I go I would like to hear your views about these two different versions and the room in the interior. Are the head and legroom the same? Should i expect to have more room in either of the two versions than in the other?

    Thanks for any help!

Im just over 6'1" and have a BF GTX and a Escort gt (similar to the BG 323). The both have plenty of room for me, but it seems that the bf has slightly less room. How tall are you?

Thanks for your reply! I'm 6'9". Proportionally legs are a bit longer than torso.

I'd say you'd be pretty tight in a bf, probably have more leg to steering wheel interference than head in the ceiling but it would be tight all around.

The seats do recline pretty far back, it also will slide farther back than where I sit, and I'm 6'1". I hop you have long arms to match though as you will be leaned back pretty good I imagine. An uncle of mine at 6'6" drove a 77 civic cvcc, so if he fit in there I'm sure you could squeeze into a BF.
