    Laser TX3 Interchangeability with BG

I was just shopping around exploring BG chassis options. In an effort to stiffen it up, and I know that the TX3 is very similar exterior wise but how much does the chassis change up? If anyone could tell me if these parts would fit that would be most excellent. Id like to buy some late Xmas presents for the Escort. :D

If these dont fit, can anyone help me out with similar options? I have looked at the Corksport Strut Bars (and ran them on my old Tracer) but didnt feel as though they did there job as well being that they have the adjustable pivot point. If worst come to worse I can surely weld something up. :D Lets talk chassis stiffening!

Chassis is the same. AWD model has it's obvious differences. Everything is interchangeable with the FWD model with the exception of some things like headlights/corners are mounted differently. And of course it's RHD.

Before you criticize someone, first try walking a mile in their shoes. Because then you'll be a mile away, and you'll have their shoes...

Excellent, that means that nothing should change for these parts locations. I went ahead and bought the Strut Tower bar, youd better be right. lol

Ive been looking at TX3s all day, I want some AUDM goodies!

Aww crap, I forgot to mention the jdm GTX oe strut tower bar is cheaper and sturdier than that UR bar. There's one in that pic you posted of the fender brace.

After previous experience with UR parts I dont have any doubts in their ability to perform, and plus itll already be white, so no need for me to have it powdercoated. Cost is about the same either way for me. But im being told that the Fender Braces are illegal in many classes of AutoX. I need an SCCA handbook!

Does anyone have any experience with the Fender braces for UR or any other company for that matter? Im not aware as to how much that section of the car deflects under load and I wonder just how effective they will be.

I didnt say they were illegal in all classes just some. I dont want to be placed in some stupid level Mod or Radical class just because of these, lol.

I doubt you really need the fender braces. My BG can pull steady 1.3g lateral without them (seen peaks of 1.5g). I'm running 275/35-15 Hoosier front tires and as long as you brace the top of the strut tower and between the inner LCA mounts it will be fine.

Holy crap. That's bordering on like Koenigsegg/Pagani/other hypercar territory...

Not that I need, I just have a source to get them cheap, might as well run if it doesnt mess me up class wise and its well below cost! And holy cow, that is awesome, I need to look into stuffing a wider tire. :0 I just finished reading through your build thread. So awesome.
