Whats better than a Viper an SL600 thats what!

I saw reviews on the sl 600 and saw its 0-60 of 3.6 sec with its twin turbo V12 rated at the same horses as the AMG and its heavier than it too so what is the deal this car can hurl 4600 pounds in 3.6 secs. I then looked at its torque which nearly has 600lb.ft of torque which is insane! My grandparents have an sl55 which only goes in 4.5. does this mean that ultimately turbos are better than superchargers. this would kill an SRT-10 I would definitely take this over a SRT-10.

Uhmm, yeah, two turbos will definately be better then one supercharger. Twin-turbo makes 500 hp, 590 ft-lbs, while the supercharged one makes 475 hp and 520 ft-lbs. Plus, I am sure that the ECUs are tweaked differently also.
But imagine this. Take the engine out of CL65 6.0L twin-turbo: 615 hp, and 740 ft-lbs. Then slap into a 1000 lbs lighter SLR. Now, SLR alone makes 626hp and 575 ft-lbs, and thats only out of 5.5L Supercharged V-8! Imagine the possibilities!
    Even the fricking Maybachs have a 5.5L Twin-Turbo V-12 that pump out 550 hp and 670 ft-lbs.
Also, this is my favorite MB up to date: Kleeman tuned E55.
Same 5.5L Supercharged mentioned before, only this one is making 640 hp and 660 ft-lbs. These numbers are only getting sicker.
But MB also has a 7.3 V-12. That engine is so sick, that AMG never applied induced force on it. SL and S classes were sold with that engine in Europe only. It made 525 hp, and 550 ft-lbs. Not bad NA engine.
Ok, I stop being a dork now.
