Box Carpeting

OK guys and gals....

I went to the car stereo store and was gonna pick up some carpet... they wanted to charge an outragous amount for like 24x24"... and I need more than that so I said no... crutchfield has like 56" x 36" for like $20 or something like that and then also S&H... so I was pondering... I went to autozone and they have a roll of black(full black with no white strands in it or anything like that in) and other colors as well next to the floor mats and stuff... it was like $9 for 72" x 36"... its pretty good and looks pretty good... I got home and started puttin it on my back wall of my trunk... it looked pretty good until i tried to put it in my trunk and i carpeted the wrong damn side of it! argh!

So anyway I just thought I would let ya guys know before you go out and spend a fortune...

LOL. You ****tard!! Only I would do something stupid like that! HA HA ****tards unite!! I ordered carpet from Crutchfield to do my amp rack and ended up with plenty left. Once Blue finishes my box, I may have enough to carpet it or atleast the visible parts. :p:

I also think that I did it on the wrong side is cuz i got shicked like 3 times from my power cable from my amp when i took it out to get the board out to carpet it... i kept ****in touching it and zapping the **** out of myself.... screwed my brain over more so than it was before

fabric stores also have a lot of styles and colors that will work for carpeting boxes course i ususally just leave my boxes in plain wood and bondo

HH, I think shock therapy would do Asylum24 some good. He is in AA remember? It's a new experimental thing. So far I noticed he is interested in rims before adding more to his stereo. :p:

Ok so yesterday I went and got my wires to make the instal look better and of course since i want everything toeb the same... had to get the expensive ****. the stinger pro HPM twisted wire... that **** was expensive for like 2 feet it was like $4.92 with tax. and its a bitch to friggin strip....
