I think the sprint springs are the cheapest. I'm gonna be posting some Intrax springs on ebay pretty soon.

The Sprint springs can be found on Nopi.com They give a 2 inch drop and are the lowest drop you can get from a spring without cutting coils on a spring or getting coilovers. I have these on my 91 LX and haven't had any problems.

Isn't cutting springs terribly dangerous and besides that, yields ****ty results?(grammar, whoa)

well yes and no. if you have large sharp bumps then yes. if you slow down and take a speed bump at a proper speed then no.
When you turn your car on... does it return the favor?

you might want to upgrade your struts too. the tokico zx2 are the best bang for buck.

i got some Escort coilovers and i got a 2 inch drop..off of ebay for 89$ shipped...the pic is inmy sig, but it doesnt work all the time..

the ride is excellent to me..not bouncy very firm, and they never bottom out..i am still onthe stock struts...hopefully that will change soon. but they horribly screwd up my Camber...but it all was fixed with a alignment.

the sprints aren't that firm...they are about the same as stock in terms of springrates, just lower.

lower translates to a bumpier ride so you have to take care around ****ty roads w/potholes
