coilovers for modification?

Hi,

Because it's had to find coilovers for the 2wd, I am looking for a kt that can be modified, re-welded brackets etc...

Does anyone have a idea about what kind of coilovers that could be rather similar to a 2wd GT. And i prefer european cars, because parts are easier to get here.

You also have what i think is the no brainer choice.. you can use AND ONLY FOR THE FRONT a Coilover kit from a MK1 Vw.
1976-1984 .any model will work its the same set up. They will bolt up perfectly to your front blown setup. you also use your factory strut mount ..as of the rear. you can set it up with a sleeve and spring to match the front. as of spring rates. the MK1 is near perfect match to the BF...
that means you can use a Quality front set up from KW,Bilstien,Eibach,and what i would choose is H&R

That's what someone posted on the forum and from a closer look they do look the same. You can get a set on ebay for about $200
