    1.5 ZL-VE Motor Swap

    I was wondering....
Would I be able to make a straight
swap from my factory 1.5 motor to a
    1.5 ZL-VE variable timing motor (130hp) in
my 96 LX? Would it be worth the time?

    Thanks
    Mike A.

wtf? are you talking about? Bruce said it would
be worth swapping a motor if you were to gain 30 or more hp.
Ill gain 38 hp to be exact. So

when I said 30 hp, I meant the BP.

It is really easy to drop in a BP and can be done pretty cheap to.
theMan knows what he is talking about, me and him went through this when I was doing my motor swap.

i cant come up with money.

I think you should do it just to be unique and different

It depends on what you want to do. Personally i would go with a 1.8l simply because its a better platform to build on in the future, like if you wanted to turbo in the future or build up an NA. Its cheaper too, gotta give it that.

1.8L T4cyl (BPturbo) <------ is this the motor yall talking about???

If so, how much do yall think it will cost to get the wiring/ECU,
mounts, and tranny? Would it have to be converted to a manual?
