    Bpt-kl?

I'm picking up an mx3 soon. It's a base model with a bpt already in it. What all will I need to swap a KL into the car? Hopefully someone else on here has put a v6 in a 4cyl car.

u need a v6 mx3 donor car then pretty much. or you can try to piece together the parts online. but if you can just find a local v6 car in a yard to get parts off off. its your best bet.

It would be like doing a v6 swap into a pro/egt. You'll need the same parts. Also you'll need a v6 cluster

        Step 1: Sell car
        Step 2: Buy MX3 GS
        Step 3: Insert KL

There was a v6 car in my local yard last summer. I guess I'll hope it's still there.

Nothing wrong with it that I know of. Unknown mileage but he said a Mazda shop in AZ did the swap almost 10 years ago. I plan on finding an escort wagon to put it in.

The BPT has so much more potential... stock for stock that is, I would stick with it.

I don't agree with that at all. The only way it has more potential is if you have no budget and don't feel like swapping a motor.

KL > BP any day, all day.

not really. considering there has been 400hp stock internal KL's also. i know there has been BP's that have done that. but they actually have an aftermarket support. lol. KL FTW!

BPs are pushing their luck over 300whp for long periods of time. Your tune better be SPOT ON.

                              KL? Cake.
