Rear ended by woman with suspended license

A woman seemed to have not seen my car at a stop light yesterday even though I had completely stopped, guess what... new bumper and new exhaust. Plus all of the aggravation, I hate bad drivers especially ones that hit my car with suspended licenses. I have only had this car for 3 months. God dammit no car for 3 to five days.

That sucks man! I hope the cops throw her ass in jail for at least 30 days or more!! WTF is the deal with people driving without insurance and suspended license! Maybe that is how her's became that way in the first place! What really sucks is the fact that you had it for only 3 friggin' months!!!!

              Well Then

Well turns out she does have insurance, but I had to spend like an hour on the phone last night and this morning. Progressive offered me a loaner, because I have to bring it to one of there shops to get diagnosed and fixed. However the guy on the phone noticed that I am only 20 so he immediately said I couldn’t have the loaner. So for 3 to 5 days I will have no car at all. I feel that this woman should pay me her salary for every hour I have had to spend on the phone and for all the hours I will have no transportation. Ohh and my boss really doesn’t care that I may be late for work because of this. The lady also didn’t get arrested which makes me mad, and only got a small ticket.

I am not hurt at all, she drove a 2001 mitsubishi gallant. Her car had no damage at all, only a scratch. As the day progreses I am getting even more mad about this.

nothing a few dozen shots won't fix

you're in a better situation then my buddy at work. He just had his 1999 Ducati Monster 900 with about $4k in various mods invested in it backed over by a BMW X5. The driver had no lisence, no insurance, nothing. The bike almost got totaled. Ended up being like $2500 or so in damage. But my co-worker has to pay the deductable.

I would start complaining to her insurance company about my back hurting and then push for a new car. If you have only had it for 3 months I am sure you are under 5000 miles, that is ridiculas to have you vehical permantly scared just becasue of her incompentance. Beyond that I would push the issue with her insurance because her license is suspended, she was intententally breaking the law when she left the driveway. Push for arbartration.

I know some one who was hit head on (in an XTerra) by a BMW. The guy's car stalled out, but he was able to start it back up and fled the seen. Now she is stuck with major back problems, sees a chiropracter, and is fighting her lawyer to get on the insurance company for getting money for doctor bills. It's amazing what people have to put up with. Too much red tape.
