    Yes they are.
'90 AWD Protege, full GTR drivetrain swap, ~320 whp daily driver, RIP, and
'90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.

Jay, do you have to press them out with a machine? Or can you do it at home without a press?

I'm pretty sure you gotta have a press.

That stands to reason I wonder if the 4lug hubs use teh same beey as hell bearing the 5lug gtr ones use. Man are they hell for stout. I have yet to even touch the ones on the rallycar, they need no attention at all...

Well let's see. My gtr bearings are federal mogul part # 510010. This crossrefs to 2ndgen rx7, miata, 626, effin' Jaguar XKR, pretty much everything ford makes, blah blah blah but not bg protege. According to Summit, stock bg protege needs a 510003. Since both are widely available, I'd just get the 510003 if I had stock protege hubs. And yes you will need a 20 ton press to get this bad boy in and outta there. For them that have had to deal with the flimsy GTX wheelbearings, these are a revelation... Big friggin donut the size of yer fist.
