5/6 point Harness and Seat questions

Hi,
Would a 5/6 point harness require me to either cut a hole in my stock seat for the anti sub belt, or buy a racing seat?

If i used the stock seat would the shoulder belts just go over the seat and anchor at the rear seat belt mounts? Or do I need a harness bar?

i'm new at this but it's for solo 1/trials.

Your harness will come with all the installation info, read it 3 times then read it again.

Even most racing seats do not have a cutout for the crotch strap, so yes, cutting a hole in the seat is needed.

I put up a how-to on how i installed mine, although i will soon havea roll bar with harness mounts, this works fine for solo2, not sure about the solo1 rules. Your best bet is www.scca.org and read up on the solo1 rules.
