    Rear calipers

    Whatsup guys.

So here in South Africa, my 323 was released with drums/shoes at the rear. I managed to get hold of some disk brakes from an older model. Had to do a complete rebuild of the calipers (fix handbrake mechanisms, re-sleeve pistons etc). As you can see im already to do the conversion..

But now I have realized that I only have 7 out of the 8 guide plates.. aswell as no shims. And I cant find either of this stuff here in South Africa I have heard that its not the end of the world, and you can just use copper grease etc so there no squeals and what not.

But then again, I have put so much work into this conversion, that I want to finish it properly! Has any got any ideas for me? thanks

Had some issues with both calipers leaking fluid from the seals around the piston. Took them back to the specialist and he sorted them out for me. Everything is now working 100%!

Got the wheels back on, will test the car in the morning as well as take some better pictures of the brakes
