Whatsup guys.
So here in South Africa, my 323 was released with drums/shoes at the rear. I managed to get hold of some disk brakes from an older model. Had to do a complete rebuild of the calipers (fix handbrake mechanisms, re-sleeve pistons etc). As you can see im already to do the conversion..
But now I have realized that I only have 7 out of the 8 guide plates.. aswell as no shims. And I cant find either of this stuff here in South Africa I have heard that its not the end of the world, and you can just use copper grease etc so there no squeals and what not.
But then again, I have put so much work into this conversion, that I want to finish it properly! Has any got any ideas for me? thanks
