Not a sure thing, but feeling it out.
I'm looking for a bg car. I don't care if it runs or not, and I don't care if it's got body damage (Front frame can't be bent though. Rear end damaged car or rolled over would be perfect, but may consider other types of damage.) or a bad interior. But I need it to be rust free or close to it. (cosmetic rust is fine. Rotted out subframes and suspension parts are what we are trying to avoid, as those are the parts that can't handle the abuse) My grandpa destroyed both of our race cars this season, and the cars that we have (not counting my 323 shell, but thats my own project) are rotted out. We are tired of working with rotted out cars, and they just can't handle the abuse of racing anymore. So, we need a rot free shell to swap our stuff into. Running and driving cars would be a plus, but we do have our old race cars to use the engine and transmissions out of. I will not pay more than $500, and that's only if it is worth it to us and is within the midwest. If we have to go outside the midwestern states, prices will have to drop, as we'd have to start factoring hotel costs and gas prices into the cost of the car. Also, we'd prefer that it be set up for a bp. (If it isn't, we might still be interested, but not interested as much as we would be in a bp powered car, as we'd need to do more work.) Also, we might consider a festiva if the price is right and it's not rotted out either.
