cracked rim

i was driving in town today, and i hit a good sized pothole, that thing cracked my back rim pretty good. i talked to some guys though on a local board and then said the state will pay for it since they have been having alot of these problems.

I do not know the rules of every state, but in New Jersey (where I am from) it would have to be a state highway for the state to pay. You could try going after the municipality. The state only has jurisdiction on state roads.

yeah its on state roads and highways here, and luckly it was a state road, so so far im in luck for them paying. i called the board of transportation today and they r sending me a claim form, tomorrow im going to take pictures of the pothole and the rim.
