Are there any out there? I'll explain later tomorrow...
'90 AWD Protege, full GTR drivetrain swap, ~320 whp daily driver, RIP, and
'90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.

Looking for straight no dents no rust, don't care about drivetrain, could be a shell on jackstands for all I care. Something that drives would be more convenient however.
An uninsured "motorist" on a suspended license in a borrowed car drove out of his lane and directly into mine. My steet car is totalled. Not gonna say too much more til after my initial consult with the lawyer.

Looking for prices. Gonna be fun arguing about actual replacement costs. Go ahead and give me any and all offers, with current conditions. If I can find one to do a total guts transplant, I surely will.

Just got back from dr. appointment, no broken bones found. Plenty of softissue damage but so far nothing major. Sore knee and I cant really look left all that well. If it's still hurtin a week from now I'll go back in. Dammit, that was the best most fun car I've ever had. I'm awful lucky. If he had hit me 3 feet later it woulda been driver door and I wouldn't be here. Car crashes: Not recommended. I wish I knew of a surefire way to avoid tools like that.

The only surefire way to avoid them is to buy your own private island, and only drive on your own private roads, and never anywhere where other people exist. I've lost two of my most favorite vehicles to idiots on the roads and have often found myself daydreaming of owning my own personal country where no one else lives... Thousands of miles of private roads, most gravel and dirt, the occasional smooth Tarmac stretch, every kind of corner known to man, it would be nice.

Sorry for your loss, hopefully your insurance interactions go more smoothly than my year old accident that has yet to be settled. It can be a nightmare. Best of luck finding a replacement. They're getting rare.
