    Has anyone painted there Lx wheels?

    1st gen that is...ive been contemplating on it, b/c im broke as hell and wont be able to buy wheels until the fall...maybe later ...so i was thinkin of going black...and maybe paintin the calipers...but i would hate to ruin my precious LX wheels.... ......does anyone have any pics??

          i painted my stock steels black and i think its looks pretty good

            I painted my stock steelies black. At first i thought they were too bright & shiny
            but over the winter they dulled down a bit.

                don't paint them ...
                leave them as is .. just try and polish them up

                or repaint them the same color

                  jit, judging from your sig your car is looking pretty sweet as it is. The money spent on powdercoating could be used elsewhere . . . like porn. i mean . . . porn?

                              Here is a picture of my steelies painted black.
                              The only reason i did this was to cover up all the rust, It took several hours of wire brushing just to get them to look this good (note the bumpy edge around the right side)

                              but if you have stock alloys i wouldn't recommend it, Unless you polished them and sprayed ONLY clear coat
