This actually happened right before winter, and I had completely forgotten about it until i saw the same guy last night (Vinos stick out around here).. it's the funniest and only race i've ever done in my car.
It was about 8-9pm on one of the straighter streets in the centretown area... i was waiting at the red light in the righthand lane and this Vino just pulls up beside me... he revs his engine at me.. i rev mine to muffle his. the light turns green and OFF we go! it was head to head for a good 200ft, i swear i almost hit the 25mph mark while racing!!!
he thought that making the "crack the whip" motion would help.. and he gunned it to 30mph... i matched it and mimiced the motion for increased power..
at about 500ft.. there was another red light.. i think i won. i was probably 6inches ahead of him..
