    wana go turbo

Hi everyone, as the title says i wana turbo my bp powered sephia, stock block and head with 50k (planning on low boost) been researching for along time i havent found much on everything i will need, im going to start peicing together everything as i can, i need help on sourcing the correct parts, like what injectors/fuel rail i will need, and what type of fuel delivery system i will have to add to my ecu to run the turbo. wich turbo, ive seen vj20 and vj11 if im correct but there hard to find, manifold ofcourse, oil lines and fuel pump. if im missing anything please correct me, i would love find the correct parts i need to get started and im open to any suggestions or advice on how to get it started the right way. thanks - Matt.

Alright just an update as i havent been on here in a lil while, ive got the vj20 turbo&manifold, gtx 360cc injectors and stage 2 clutch, as tools for school are spendy, im saving up for a set of standard bore 9.0:1 forged pistons and h Manley rods along with bearings etc.. im going to get it done right. will update when i can. take it easy everyone!

you don't need forged internals with a candyass VJ20.

also, look into what the NB Miata nerds are doing for ECU tuning, since those are OBDII as well.

well eventually i will be uprading the turbo and manifold, but i want to build the engine to last, but i decided im going with run weisco 8.5:1 cp pistons With 84.5mm bore instead so i can run more boost. need to get turbo cams from a bpt also.

Cheap miata engine mani is FM voltage clamp and a RRFPR with slightly larger injectors.
