As a few of you are aware we have had a turbo'd P5 for quite sometime.We have not shown pictures and kept it quiet for the majority of the time.
Background about us.Our main market is Turbo Mustangs and have been playing with turbochargers since 1995.We are geared heavliy into the Mustang market and have decided to pickup the Mazda community after receiving a several emails and phone calls from protege owners.So last year we went out and bought an 03 MP5 and started the R&D for a turbo kit.
I will tell you this, the car has gone through many changes and we continue to improve the design.
The pictures I enclose are of a kit in R&D.This is why you will see some pipes powdercoated, different color hose, different style hose clamps,different manufactors of braided line,EGT bungs,etc.We feel it's very important to find any problems or quality issues in the material we choice before the end user does.Once we feel the kit is very dependable and I feel comfortable, the kit will be jethot coated and everything will be cleaned up and put on the market.
And right now I'm very confortable with it.To date we are making 4.5psi 161whp @ 5200RPMs, 6psi 176whp @ 5200RPMs,6psi 181whp @ 6000RPMs,9psi 209whp at 6000rpm and have over 31,000 miles on boost.
The kit is going through it's last change(blow-off valve relocation) and we will see where that takes us.If all goes well, we will be looking for 2 more sponsor cars(currently have 2)

Our kit does not effect ground clearance and allows you to keep all your underbody plastic for a clean stealthy look.
