GI: T2 / T3 adapter plates

    GI: T2 / T3 adapter plates

    Seems like has been a lot of interest in the T3 adapter plates for the VJ-20 GTX manifold. They'll be pretty much the same as the ones wht95scort made. Made of 1/2" thick mild steel and comes with all necessary hardware. Fully cnc machined.

    I am still working on the final drawing, but it looks like a T2x adapter plate will also be possible.

    Price would be $65 shipped in the US.

    I need at least 5 committed buyers of either to go ahead.

        what size turbos fit b4 there to low for oil return?

          Can you do a T2 adapter plate for a GTR manifold? I have one if you need measurements.

              I am not sure as I have never tried to fit another turbo, but it's only 1/2" lower. I can't guarantee fitment. Ryan also brought up a point that some of the larger turbos will hit the block.

              A GTR-T2 adapter should be possible. The bolt holes are very close together, so I might need to turn down the bolts a tad for extra clearance. A GTR-T3 is even tighter. I have a drawing of a GTR manifold I did a while back, but it wouldn't hurt to double-check the measurements with yours. Please PM the measurements.

                Ok, sounds great. I forgot I also have a GTR manifold to turbo gasket, heck I could just ship the gasket to you if that makes anything easier/more accurate. Thanks!

                  My drawing should be accurate. So, just a few quick measurements from you to confirm should be enough.

                          It's still in the "gauging interest" stage, so no time frame yet.

                            If worst comes to worst Ill pay whatever the full "non-group buy" price is on a gtr-t2 flange if its a possibility. Its either this or Im having a t2 flange welded to my gtr manifold. I have a gt2871 that Id love to put to use this year.

                              For anyone who's interested a T3 Super 60 from a T-Bird fit on a BP with regular oil plumbing with no issues, similar sized turbos ought to do the same.
