    Ryan's traction Bars

so I finally got around to install the traction bars Ryan (fe3-323) made. I had problems with wheel hop on my hy35 powered BP escort and probably part of the reason why my last g series bit the dust. My solution was to buy some traction bars but since practically no one makes them for them for the bg my option were quite limited. Luckily Ryan developed some and is selling them. As of now he only has a few sets left and will more than likely not be make any more.

Ryan has done the hard part all I needed to do was enlarge the bottom holes in the front control arm and they will bolt in. I had to remove the factory tow hooks as these take the place of those. Mine had tow loops added and they are in a better location than the factory ones.

So after installing naturally I wanted to take it out for a spin. I got on the highway and stopped near a gravel road. I launched it in first gear and could feel the difference No wheel hop the car felt tighter and well planted to the ground. They also seem to help when cornering. Coming out of a s curve I punched the gas in 4th gear before I knew it I was doing 75 exiting a corner I usually only take at 55mph. Really I wish I had these earlier as it makes it so much more fun to drive.
