    Polished Aluminum Rims

How do you clean these things?

I whent out and bought some wheel cleaner that said polished aluminum safe but there still not clean, so I tried doing it the old fashoined way with a sponge, then with a brush a bit better but still no go.

There is like break dust or something that just wont come off. Also they are really dull.

Is there some secret to this, that I dont know about? What are you guys doing?

For real bad brake dust build up I use Purple Power degreaser and a brush or sponge. Then shine them up with Mothers aluminum wheel polish. The degreaser will not harm your rims either.
