    Big brakes?

Any big brake kits out there?

    or more powerful calipers?

I did a quick search, didn't come up with anything of the likes

There is a company out there, I totally forget what it is but I wanna say Precision for some reason. I know they were a little over $1000 for a big brake kit, not really worth it.

IMO your better off investing in good pads, good tires and a set of SS lines.

Yeah the brakes kits are like 1500 for just the fronts, Better off just putting better pads, SS lines and vented rotors

what about a bigger master cylinder???

                  with more pressure?

i have a part number for the GTR brake master cylinder but i have no clue if it is compatible with our brake booster... it should be but who knows.

GTR had both ABS master cylinders
                  and non ABS mastercylinder
since wedon't have ABS an ABS one is out of the question.

a 929 master will fit on our cars, but a portioning valve is needed for the rear brakes.

ok so to clarify on this... a direct swap of the 929 master clyinder is acheiveable... however it needs to be re-proportioned ???

the stock proportioning valve system for the LX isn't compatible with the 929?

can anybody get me a good picture of a 929 master cylinder?

                        cool

i have no need for a big brake kit, as i am satisfied with the stock system so far, i was just wondering due to the European turbo 323, figured someone would worry about the braking ability of race versions.

but a DIY bigger brake setup would be cool for sure, there is no such as thing as too much brake upgrades.

I remember looking at one of the 323 sites and seeing something about using Mitsu Galant VR-4 rotors (and calipers I think) as a brake upgrade....don't remember how much work was involved though...

Maybe if someone knows of the site off-hand they can post a link to it...

So would this have any benefit over getting Brembo crossdrilled and slotted rotors, since they just used the protege calipers anyways?
