For 2WD Cars - Rear Strut Options?

So one of my rear Tokico bronze struts are blown, after some exhaustive research lastnight is the best aftermarket strut KYB Excels?

I believe Tokico do not offer anything for the 2WD BF chassis anymore, not that I could find anyway.

I decided on the cheaper Gabriel Ultra (aka gas-charged) on the BF Wagon and they have pretty stiff damping, enough that the original stock springs aren't a good match anymore. If you have aftermarket springs or coilover sleeves, they might be decent. Otherwise, I'd say the KYB excel/GR-2, which are the same except GR-2s are probably empty of gas since they'd be ancient stock at this point. I think Monroe makes a shock that works as well. That is about all the options unless you want to try to fit a Koni insert or something, which might be difficult due to the small diameter housings of the 2WD shocks.

      Thanks for the reply!
I ended buying the KYB Excels and installing them today on the car and looking forward to determining how well they work with my coilovers.
