    The ProtegeFest Kill Count

i cut a .505 reaction time, best of the day, untill a guy in a 1st gen rx7 (which looked worse than my car) that he bought for $200, did a .504. cablemirc has a vid of me getting the .505 i hope he can get it uploaded.

me and cablemirc raced a few times, it was fun.

i ripped a new miata into pieces man, just smoked him.

    i also wasted a new Mazda3 with the 2.3l and a few p5's.
all the p5's i raced, i beat, but i got owned by the msp's every time (cept for the 2 guys that messed up, i beat them)

i raced a guy in a escort GTX, i would have beaten him the 3rd time we raced, because his shift knob fell off when he went into 2nd but he caught me at the end.

not bad for my first time at a track, ever.

my best run was a 10.419 at 77.897mph, on average i ran 10.6's
funny thing is, there were no 2nd gen's at all, and no 3rd gen sedans. it was all p5's and MSP's, and one mp3.

there were a few 3rd gen sedans, at least 3 by my count. None of them ran on the track though, not even the mp3.

              congrats on the wins

the blue mp3 ran. i tried to get up there and race him but he was racing a p5. steph did an awsome job getting that whole thing together, as did everyone else working there. i was very impressed.

and i won teh raffle to!

is that 1/8th mile racing?? Cuz thats a fast time trap speed. When I first had my protege and it was stock i ran a 17 at like 78mph or something. Weird.

Damn, his car must be pretty fast if he is trapping the same speeds at the 1/8th mile that I was making at 1/4 mile. Wouldnt that translate into like a 13sec 1/4 mile??

run 12 was VS me, and i got 1 1000th higher reaction. i thought you did significantly better after i told you to dump it at 5k dave, you kept up with me alot better. one time i accidentally went through that rx7's burnout water and launched at 6k rpm, and you got the jump on me. almost beat me too.

                          no a 10.0 flat usually converts into a 15 sec 1/4mi.
When you turn your car on... does it return the favor?

                            so i'd probably bust between like a 15.6 and a 16.0?
