Video Amplifier - Yes or No?

I recently purchased the Sony CDX-M9905X Headunit which has the Video input and also 2 headrest TV's. This is going to be a total of 3 video inputs from my DVD Player. Would I need a Video Amplifier for this or could I just split the signal into three with cables?

    Thanks

It should work, a little loss in signal shouldn't make a diffrence when your looking at a 5" tv.

You probubly wont even notice it.

I have 2 7" Monitors going into the headrest. Will I still be okay with them?

      Thanks

try it out, if after installation you find that you need a booster, then get one. i look at it like a line driver, it's not necessary in most cases and the gains are minimal.

in home applications, i've been able to split video signals up to 4 times without major issue via RCA cabling.. it's after that you run into problems. i find what helps best is using higher grade wiring and connectors seems to weed out the minor problems (ie gold plated connectors). though i don't have any level of expertise on the topic, i think if anything, all you'd loose is a little bit of color information, but on your sony head unit, it's not going to make any bit of difference how many connections you're making, the picture is not that detailed in the first place
