    funny race

    Tonight i raced a Vw jetta (the guy said it was a bora????), he was nervous about racing the protege because i refused to open my hood (i didnt want to spoil the surprise aka turbo), we set the race up on an abandon road and on the way there i shifted at 2k so the bov wouldnt be that loud. when we lined up he looked pretty confident but after the race was flagged i couldnt help but laugh all the way down the strip. 1st gear, i had one car lenght (bad start)... 2nd gear, he was far back in my rearview... 3rd gear, i couldnt count the carlenghts i was ahead by.

    Yeah i know it was a piontless race but thats one of the benefits of having what some would call a sleeper. thats another kill. BP rules!!!!

          FYI, Bora is the name for the Jetta somewhere else in the world (South America, i think). It's called the Vento in parts of Europe. Same car, many names. Just like the Protege/323/Familia thing.
